WE ARE IN A WIN, WIN SITUATION

When our Granddaughter, Suzzanah, was 7 years old she was very small framed and lightweight. While playing soccer the Goalkeeper(Goalie) wanted a relief from the position so the Coach sent Suzzanah in to fulfill the task. Because of what is involved in performing this duty and Suzzanah being the smallest team member, everyone was surprised to see her put in this position. There is only one Goalie per team, The job is to stay close to the goal and defend it. The Goalie is easily identified because he or she wears a different colored shirt or a vest over the shirt. Suzzanah, however, was not reluctant. She went across that field as though she was on a mission and appeared to have no fear. When it came time to defend the goal, she did just that. She used every resource available to her by simply laying that small, lightweight body right down on the ball. That was very effective and needless to say, a real crowd pleaser as everyone rose to laughter. Suzzanah carried out her mission and defended the teams goal, without reluctance or fear and using every resource available to her. This made me I think about God. And how as Christians we are all on the same team. God is our one Goalie for our team. He always stays close to us and defends His goal, which is us His team. And when we use every resource available to us, which is the word of God, we are able to carry out God's will(our mission) without reluctance or fear. And God is so easy to identify because He is always dressed in a robe of unconditional love, joy, peace and gentleness. So no matter what we encounter in life, WE ARE IN A WIN, WIN SITUATION WITH GOD AS OUR GOALIE.
